Global Head of Training and Board of Directors member at Hinz Consulting, LLC, where he worked with the Hinz Executive Leadership Team to achieve the company’s goals. He currently supports a portfolio of clients in bid pursuits, pipeline analysis, proposals, and reviews. He is a frequent webinar and conference presenter on BD, capture, and proposal topics and is an expert instructor in these areas.

He has over 42 years of experience in Federal/DOD and commercial business development, capture management, proposal management, product support, systems/software engineering, quality assurance, and program management while working at Siemens, CACI, EYT, DynCorp IE&T, SIMTEC, and Delex Systems. He has helped win over $45B since 1990 and has supported 17 $1B+ proposals and multiple projects worth $100M+. He has also helped small and mid-tier clients win projects ranging from $1M to $75M.

He served in the U.S. Air Force prior to attending VCU. Len holds a BS degree in Physics from VCU. He is a long-term member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), is Foundation-certified, and is a member of the APMP National Capital Area (NCA) Chapter Board, where he serves as the Executive Board Vice President and Committee Co-Chair of the NCA Graduate Pathway Program.
